Life Changer Ministries, in partnership with Heartland Community Baptist Church, invites you and your youth group, students 6th - 12th grade, to serve the local community of Sioux City, IA in a week of life changing, hands-on missions!

​Registration Details:​
  • To reserve spots, you must complete an Eventbrite order ($50 non-refundable deposit per attendee)
  • Church Sponsor/Youth Leader needs to complete the Group Application
  • Groups are required 5:1 ratio of students to an adult of the same gender
  • Participants 18 years of age (by April 30, 2025), or older are required to verify a completed background check by their host church​
                                                                                                                       All forms must be submitted online!

When you choose to serve at Life Changer Ministries, you commit to:

  • give up access to technology during the week.  Participants under the age of 18 will not be able to use cell phones, tablets, or other technology devices.  This is required in order to focus on the mission and purpose of Life Changer Ministries.  
  • physical work that will be challenging and rewarding.  
  • working on a crew with people from your church as well as other churches.  You will get to know new people and know your team well!  
  • attend nightly Worship Rally and discuss what you learn with your youth group. 
  • ​​abide by the expectations and procedures of Life Changer Ministries.

What is Life Changer Ministries?

The Heartland Church Network is excited to announce our partnership with Life Changer Ministries (LCM), a nonprofit missions organization that focuses on equipping and leading service teams in meeting the physical needs of others all with the aim of ministering and sharing the gospel. 

VISION: Changing Lives One House at a Time

MISSION: LCM exists to glorify God by equipping teenagers for Christian missions through home repair and personal witness. 

LCM partners with local churches and city governments to guide volunteers in meeting needs the needs of those in their community such as performing small home repairs, painting, building wheelchair ramps, and replacing windows, siding, and more.

LCM has created a pre-package missions guide that helps facilitate a week-long adventure for high school students and adults to serve the community through hands-on mission work and ministering to the spiritual needs. They have truly established an all-encompassing tool to equip students and leaders in going out and being the hands and feet of Jesus!
